It is a good idea to check the DNS A records for your domain anyway at this stage, even if your sire is work, to make sure your SSL certificate is installed correctly. You might need to clear your DNS cache to check the DNS changes have taken place. Using Microsoft Windows, you can open a command line and type ipconfig /flushdns to do this. Answer: Yes, there are no restrictions at all on the subdomain you must use for installing an SSL certificate. However, it is important to note that only a wildcard type of certificate is able to work across multiple subdomains and the main domain. If you don’t use a wildcard certificate, you will need to purchase SSL certificates for the main domain, and also any subdomains you want to install a certificate on.

Answer: As long as you keep the same IP address you can retain your current SSL certificate. If you upgrade your hosting package here at 365Host we can shift your IP address to your new hosting package for a small cost.
